About Ephemeral Movement

Ephemeral Movement is an eco-somatic practice; a cross-thatch of contemplative work, bioregional inquiry, somatic investigation, and a creative outlet. It is informed by pilgrimage, site-specific art, dance improvisation, and ecopsychology.

More than a practice, it is a philosophy; a perspective on living based around change that advocates for more meaningful choices and a richer experience with the earth. It reveals adaptability as the truest form of stability and provides the advantages of a greater sense of place and body.

Adopting an ephemeral philosophy as a general life perspective supports embodiment, physical and psychological grounding, an ecological consciousness, and recovers our animal bodies.

Ephemeral Movement is a life’s work and a platform for exploration and discovery. In its development, it inherently suggests a conversation. It starts with exchange.
